Congrats to the Yankees, it was quite a series. Philly gave them a good run and the weird calls made by the umps will probably be scrutinized for years to come. I had a good time watching the reactions of my brother and friends (who are hard-core fans) get angry as the Yanks lost/made mistakes/not hit the baseball.

I had to stop congratulating the Phillies, however, when they did something good. The cold stares and evil eyes got the best of me.

But I had to lol and clap when Utley kept hitting the long-ball. Just walk the damn guy. I don't even like baseball all that much and I knew that. But both teams played well and it was nice to see the Yanks win it. All that means is that my house will be a little happier (except for my mom who hates all sports) and my brother can go watch the parade with his fellow uber-fans.

Now that that kiddie game with the balls and the bats are out of the way....

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!

update? i can haz one?

I want Borderlands.

I need money but I don't want to work for it.

I need to pay my bills. I don't think ignoring the letters anymore are going to help. t.t

But most of all....I want Borderlands.

I'm playing all my older games again. I finally beat Sapphire. I didn't know why it took me a year or so to beat until I looked at my team which is so totally random it made me wonder how I made it through the game in the first place. I actually HAD to use a legendary to beat the elite four (OMG how hard is it to kill a Metagross), but in my case I don't think I used a full team of 6. I had a Ludicolo, Mightyena (which I must have gotten confused with Houndour since I was expecting it to be a fire type)...ummm...Swampert....uhh.

Where is my DS?

Aaagggggg....I'll find it later.

I sang in Rockband a few days ago. It was fun. Never liked to sing (drums are mine...no one plays them...my precious....) but when Adam brought a mic stand I had to try. I had fun. Will probably sing again when my butt is numb from sitting for hours banging plastic pads.

Hrmm...I finished my soup. Thought it would take longer.

Gonna go find my DS.

UFC TOMORROW!!!!1111 Gun' go watch grown men crawl and punch the crap outta each other for my entertainment!!!!11

Have a great weekend peoples. :)

Random news story that made me type a lot. Perhaps enjoyable to others?

Saw this on AOL.

Eagle Scout (17 yo) Billed $25,000 For Rescue .

Long story short: Eagle Scout kid goes off trail, gets lost for 3 days, state orders rescue-stuff, kid is found. Big bill to pay for rescue-stuff, bill is given to kid/kid's parents to pay. Is this wrong/right?

I think the irony in the situation alone is enough to make him pay. YOU'RE A FREAKING EAGLE SCOUT! Aren't you supposed to be trained in outdoors stuff? Wouldn't "Not getting lost in the forest" be ONE OF THEM?

I looked at the story closer. He "wandered off the trail" and got lost.

I live in a city. Even I know when I go into the woods to stay on the trail. It's not a hard lesson to learn. See that sign reading "Trail", STAY ON IT. If he was, let's say, forced off the trail because of a wild animal/psycho Scout-Rapist I would be more lenient. But, with his own two feet, walked off into the forest.

People are commenting that, "...he's too young and doesn't know better". So, at 17 you have the earned right to learn to drive a car (a thing that can potentially kill anything you ram it into) but you don't have the mindset (as a SCOUT, a fucking SCOUT) to stay together in the forest and stay on the path?

The bill is a hefty $25,000. Too much? As another commenter noted "I'd pay $25,000 to have my kid safe and sound at home". I think the price tag is a tad extravagant, but I really don't know how much it is to get helicopters and the like.

I don't know why this story stuck out to me. I've spent the last 40-60 minutes typing this up and reading comments (whilst "Ojamajo Doremi: Sharp" ep 48 sits paused on my task bar). I don't know if its because I'm bored and this is making my brain think I'm being useful. I could be leveling up my lowly Fighter in Dungeons and Dragons Online (my WoW stand-in for an unknown amount of time {{Hey, it's free to play! --at least for now--}}) or, you know, looking for a job.

Perhaps it's from a small craving for human interaction; even if its in the form of a witty sentence and a funny userpic. I think my lack of going outside is starting to wear down my brain.

imagine that....

"It will be on May 21st that God will raise up all the dead that have ever died from their graves. Earthquakes will ravage the whole world as the earth will no longer conceal its dead (Isaiah 26:21). People who died as saved individuals will experience the resurrection of their bodies and immediately leave this world to forever be with the Lord. Those who died unsaved will be raised up as well, but only to have their lifeless bodies scattered about the face of all the earth. Death will be everywhere." ---Taken from some religious website

Those who died unsaved will be raised up as well, but only to have their lifeless bodies scattered about the face of all the earth. Death will be everywhere.

. . . . O___O

God is going to make MOTHERFUCKING
ZOMBIES.

A few suggestions:

1) Tokyo Magnitude 8.0
Do yourself a favor and watch it. Only 11 episodes. All 11 are out and ready to be digested. Not many anime are able to get a reaction out of me, this is one of the few. I don't bore people with explanations of the show since it may deter them from watching it. Download two or three episodes and take a chance.

2) Buttersafe
If this one doesn't hook you.

Then perhaps this one will.

The feel/humor is very Cyanide and Happiness-ish, but the art changes with each comic. One will be stick-figures, the next very detailed with various backdrops and characters. It just kind of hit me out of nowhere so I decided to spread a little LoL love to all.

Good day to you.

spore....rar

I just spent about 3-4 hours on and off getting back into SPORE. I finally got my guys to Civilization stage, made my castle, my tank and updated how my guys look.

A screen pops up when I start to make my first house, saying that SPORE encountered a problem and needs to close.

I didn't realize SPORE doesn't auto save. I'm babied in the fact that most games have an auto save and that activates in the background as not to interrupt you whilst playing.

Lo and behold, all my time was for naught.

Now all I have is a severe wrist cramp.

Now the game goes back to my shelf, where it will continue to collect dust, so that I can play it again in a few month's time back from where I started on this day.

Now for an ace bandage and to continue packing for my vacation.

nine

It took them NINE episodes to finish this arc.

Just to make Kyon stand up at the cafe and say "let's do homework". Why couldn't he just randomly visit Haruhi on the day before school? Or talk to the other members on that day? Or.....argh, that's enough. It's a cartoon. I'm going to get agitated again for a ridiculous reason.

-.-

Now I'm waiting on a week to week basis anyway since I'm up to date. Perhaps an ACTUAL story arc will follow? I wouldn't know, I don't read mangas, nor do I go to forums anymore.

They really expect to put this "Endless Eight" arc on DVD's? It's the same episode nine times. I'm pretty sure the fan boys will buy it anyway. I, for one, am happy that I can watch another anime since I'm free of this time loop myself. I have to say though, it made me watch to see what would happen. Gotta give it to them for that. Then again, I'm easily impressed by Nagato.

Now I wait for Spice and Wolf to release. Impatiently, mind you.

Horo, don't marry that blond-haired pretty boy. Stay with Lawrence ;_; (I think she's pretty much going to stay since the anime will change too drastically if she does leave Lawrence's side, but it feels good to worry a bit)

I believe that is all for anime rant. Farewell.

Haruhi season 2 thoughts of farts

OMFG THE FIRST 5 EPISODES ARE THE SAME THING?? Really? Really?

If I was told that I repeated the same two weeks for over 500 years I'd do more THAN SIT ON MY ASS AND DO NOTHING ABOUT IT.

Ummm, how about asking THE FREAKING ALL KNOWING TIME-SPACE BEING THAT YOU HANG AROUND WITH THAT DOES NOTHING BUT "observe". PERHAPS SHE, YOU KNOW, "OBSERVED" SOMETHING OF SOME GREAT IMPORTANCE. WHY CAN'T KYON FREAKING STOP HARUHI FROM LEAVING THE GODDAMN CAFE AT THE END OF THE EPISODE? SAY "WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING? STOP FUCKING RUNNING AND LEAVING ME WITH THE CHECK. AND GET US OUT OF THIS GODDAMN TIME-LOOP" IT'S LIKE HE GETS POSESSED AND IS UNABLE TO MOVE.

IF A TIME-SPACE TRANS DIMENSIONAL (who has proven to me beyond all sense of doubt that she is that type of being) BEING TELLS ME SOMETHING FREAKING RIDICULOUS AS THAT I'D FUCKING SIT DOWN ON A CHAIR AND LIKE, YOU KNOW, DO STUFF TO STOP THIS LOOP FROM GOING ON AND ON.

I'm so glad I did not watch this show week by week. I'd be majorly pissed that each week was the same episode with minor clothing and script changes. I don't know if they wanted the viewer to sit there and be pissed, but that's the reaction I got. I just fail to see how no one does anything to stop it. No one actually GOES to Haruhi and says "Hey, you have any plans that you're not telling us? Perhaps something you want to do that feels un-accomplished in your life?"

Seriously, Kyon better stay watching the baseball game with his little sister the next episode. If he picks up the phone I'm....I'm....going to sit here and fume since I can't do anything to make believe characters on my computer screen. Perhaps caps lock some more.

Now to double click ep 6. Hope SOMETHING changes.

Well, there is ONE good thing. ::humph manly shrug::

Nagato in different yukatas. Kawaii @_@
Weird set of dreams. One was WoW related, the other...not so much.

The WoW one involved questing through an amusement park. I was a warrior (but alas it was a dwarf and not my Night Elf.....I THINK it was a dwarf, or an entirely new character..but whatever). I remember playing with a few other people, one being my comrade in arms, Tim. He apparently came late into the quest, or just didn't get any drops since I remember him saying something along the lines of "OMG I'm not getting any damn pieces of armor." Low and behold the next thing that drops goes to him. It was gloves, I wish I remembered the name, but it slips my mind.

By the way, all the pieces of armor had the word "Training" in them. Like "Training Gloves" or "Training Novice's Chestpiece". When his char put the gloves on, they looked almost skeletal. I guess if one was wearing training equipment it wouldn't be as ornate as regular equipment. However, in WoW standards, they were better than what we had, so we put them on.

The first boss I remember just kicking his ass and getting a drop. I believe I made a comment saying that so far this place was "Too easy". I don't think it was anything amusement park-themed. Then we quested deeper into the park, eventually going down into a crypt surrounded by various faces/inlets that you had to light. Next to the inlets were insignias. At the end of the room was a tomb of some sort with (something that could only be explained as "American" since Timmy was able to help us solve the puzzle by saying "Light the torches that were American.") another, more elaborate insignia on it.

We lit the correct torches and the tomb opened. Another dwarf-like character popped out and we began to fight.

Now, this is where I get foggy. I don't know if the above-mentioned (first) boss battle was in fact stage one of THIS battle, but all I know is that the boss that we awoken goes into his "second stage" (which involved a scary, toothy open-mouthed helmet/hat) and he proceeds to wipe us all.

I remember yelling for a heal (never mind the fact that I was already dead..something I probably did a lot when actually playing since typing "I need a heal" during battle is hard to do) then saying "Oh, I forgot Priest isn't here." (Priest is the nickname of a guild mate, who well, plays a priest. She goes out with a friend of Tim's, who plays a Rogue)

So, all in all, we got wiped by the big bad amusement park boss. Dream warrior Joe did get some supah elite training gear, however. So it can't be all bad. :D Damn you fuzzycthulhu, look what you've awakened in me. It was sleeping for all this time. Must....not...charge....credit card......aaaaahhh.

Aaaaaand I typed out the second dream, but something happened that ruined my post. All I was able to save was the WoW dream. I've spent too much time staring at this page already, so I'm going to go play some Fallout 3.

My brother just ate through the whole series of Avatar in less time than it took me. It's awesome being able to shout out quotes from the show and getting a laugh from him since he knows what I'm talking about now.

Current quote that stuck in my head that makes me lol: "Watch it!
